Good app but lacking good file renaming

Purchased this app hopping to replace TagScanner for Windows. This app is very fast and intuitive to use.
If the correct information is in the tags the file renaming feature is very fast.
My biggest complain is very weak file renaming prior to fixing tags.
When tag information is missing but the information is in the filename mixed with a lot of -, _, ( ), 01, disc, and other useless information Metadatics has NO way of cleaning up the file name so you can extract the tag information.
Fortunatley I have Adobe Bridge which has an excellent batch file renaming feature.
